You know that wall of candles in the back of the shop part of Cracker Barrels? I will stand there forever and sniff every single candle. I give them all a fair shake, but I definitely don't like them all. I tend to gravitate to woodsy, smoky scents (bourbon, tobacco, teak, etc.). But I also love candles that successfully, and tastefully, incorporate vanilla and baking spice smells. Candles that smell liked baked goods are aight by me. I found this candle while doing some shopping in a local store that features artists and craftspeople from the area. I picked it up, smelled it, then immediately looked at my girlfriend and announced that we were buying two. It smells incredible. The coffee, vanilla, and burnt sugar are balanced perfectly. I will walk by it sitting on my dresser and sniff it just while passing through the room. After those two candles ran out, I ordered another online. The packaging the candle came in was darling, everything hand wrapped and tied, and Erin even sent a complimentary tea light positioned in a tiny bird nest. Now I'm about to buy another Chirpy Chickadee or two. Hope you will as well.
